Adding navigation bar over current lesson

Adding navigation bar over current lesson

Hi everyone,

I am trying to add a horizontal navigation bar on top of lessons, so that the users can see every part of the lesson and jump to it. While browsing the web i found out that one can do this by adding a table with a single row over every part of the lesson and adding links into it. However this is no viable solution for me, because my course managers are already having trouble creating and maintaining courses. Therefore I was thinking maybe I can move the navigation block and display only the current course. It would be nice if I could use symbols but text is fine too

I am trying to do something like this (which I found on open.hpi.de):

horizontal coursemenu from open.hpi.de

I tried moving the navigation block via CSS, wich works to some degree, but I don't seem to be able to remove everything but the current course from the navigation block.

If anyone has an idea how I can do that or if there is some other way to do this in a better way please help.
