We have 100 multiple choice question exams and are experiencing a "timeout" before the exams completely load, e.g. we only get to about question 50 in 30 seconds and then get a "done." No matter how many times I refresh, I can still only get about half of the questions to load. I'm guessing this is due to the way MySQL or PHP is set up on our server but I could use some advice on where to begin to look.

Hi Dawn,
If you put 100 questions on a page, it'll take a long time to load all questions. Perhaps due to your server, you could see only haft of the questions. I recommend you using the paging functionality (10 questions per page).

Thanks for the quick reply. I should have mentioned that we have not upgraded to 1.5 yet - still running 1.4.4. so we cannot use the paging feature. We have been stuck on 1.4.4 while deciding how to handle the upgrade of our 1.4 essay questions to 1.5 and I think we will have to wait until the next term begins in January 06.
