Help me please i lost my database after i closed my computer

hi,all 

today I was shocked because laste 15 day  I download Moodle 3.0.2 and I have created a site in this platform  ..I created forume and test and users .. i really work hard to finish this site ..  ..so in all this time i never close my computer (i just put it into standby) and yesterday i close my computer . today when i turn on my computer i did not find my site and even my database moodle do you believe that?nothing !!!surprise

i did not understand what happened ???

can someone please explain to me please  ??

because now i'm obliged to repeat all my worksad

Things dont just vanish that easy, have you even started your moodle server to come to conclusion that all your moodle data just gone leaving your operating system and all other things intact?

In addition to Usman's comments, you have given us no idea on how you installed, what you installed on (operating sytem etc). In order to help, we need a lot more information.

Emma, as I remember, she had installed Windows Installer package nearly a month ago, on her Windows 7 machine.

She must have forgot to start moodle as when she re-started her PC assuming everything will start with PC re-start.

i install moodle 3.0.2 in my windows 7 and i use PHPMYadmin (wampserveur)

Good thing you have a good memory Usman!  

When you rebooted your computer, did you open up the WAMP server and start the Moodle server?

no i start with moodle and when it show me an error message about database i close moodle and i start wamp server

Are you certain it showed error about database? have you installed any other database on top later on? if it is database issue, then I can only think of you installing some other database that have taken port that were being used by MySQL, so now it is not running.

Once you have opened XAMPP panel, have you seen Apache and MySQL running?

yes i see the php and mysql running

and now i restart the installation i see the database in wamp server and i enter to the site

after 5 minute everything gone i will lose my mind ....what happen please

The site administrator should also check that the database details have been correctly specified in config.php

this time i do export to the data and when i try to import it  look what happened

have you played with your SQL files and/or your config.php?

what DB are you trying to import?

Try selecting DB is left hand pane, and export it, create a new DB in PhpMyAdmin and then import your exported DB to see if that works.

Re-start installation? what you mean by that?

you shouldn't be restarting installation from scratch for no apparent reason, if your moodle was running fine, all you had to do is run moodle and use it as before. If it started re-install, means your moodle config.php file must have removed or altered.
