Not able to view course content after LDAP sync

Not able to view course content for all roles other than site admin after LDAP sync. 

We had 2 fields to be added to the user profile and hence the sync has been carried out. But after the sync, the following issues started. 

  • The course content in any course is not visible to the users(other than site admin)
  • The navigation block on the front page disappeared for the users(other than managers and admins). ie the default role of Authenticated user was not recognized by the system.

Please could anyone suggest why this has happened and any possible solutions for this. As the first one is a high priority issue.
