I have set up self-enrolment keys for my courses, but have discovered that when other users try to self enrol, MY PERSONAL SYSTEM PASSWORD automatically appears instead!
Some of the courses were restorations of previous courses, so I thought that it might have been some settings I unintentionally uploaded, but this is also the case for courses I have created from scratch. Oh, but wait, possibly I uploaded a course template from that original course... Right now I have safely set everything to manual enrolment, but I don't want this to be the case down the line.
I also exported my course for another teacher to use, and my personal password appears on her site with self-enrolment as well, so I worry she might forget this issue when/if she decides to use self-enrolment in the future.
Clearly I must have done something wrong in setting up my courses.
One thing I do recall as odd is that in general course settings, my email address came up automatically under "Course ID number." I tried to erase this and even replace it with something random, but it reverts back to my email address.
This situation is obviously a potential personal security issue, so any ideas are more welcome.
