Course completion status is not updating

It is set to default (to run every minute), but last run shows "Never" - so it is not working?

That means that you do not have cron set up or it is not set up correctly.  You need to have cron scheduled to run the moodle tasks every few minutes (your choice on how often).

Thank you - my problem has been resolved!

And yes it was cron job that had to be set.
