I'm from Mexico, so sorry about my enlgish

I've had working with Moodle 2.7 since last year, in my University (Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara) at Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

We were working right with the MOBILE APP for some time, but when we installed de SSL(symantec) in our MOODLE SERVER, a few months ago, we can not login through the APP anymore.....

I've been serarching a lot in de Moodle Docs and Forums, and followed step by step what i found, among my IT collegues and we can not make it run. 

We already installed the Moodle Mobile additional features plugin and it doesnt work.

Could you help us? please

Hi Magdalena,

the only potential problem I see is that the server is using a self-signed certificate or that the certificate is not correctly configured, please review the FAQ:

There is linked a SSL Checker tool that can check if the certificate is correctly configured.

Mil gracias por tu pronta respuesta, fijate que ese paso ya lo hice desde el principio, porque si tenemos un certificado de seguridad SSL de Symantec, entré a ese link que me diste y  entré al checador y todo me sale bien configurado, palomitas verdes en toda la cadena de revisión.

La verdad le hemos probado todo, por eso me atrevía a escribirte. Tú crees que pueda ser otra cosa??

I hope you don't find if I reply you in English, I checked your site and it seems that you've configured and authentication method using a remote database that is failing, if you try this URL in your browser:

http://aprende.uag.mx/login/token.php?username=a&password=b&service=c

You will see that you get a error 500

You should review your authentication or enrolment plugins configuration to see what is happening. You may also disable the option for displaying debugging messages one is solved.

Hi Juan:

Te quiero agradecer tu ayuda, ya he podido entrar a Moodle Mobile en mi sitio, pero solo como administrador,  me salió el error de crear el token, lo cree pero un usuario que no es admin no puede entrar, que me falta por configurar??

No importa que me contestes en inglés, lo entiendo perfecto, al contrario una disculpa por no escribir yo en inglés, pero obvio me expreso mejor en mi idioma nativo,

please, review again the Step 5 of the Moodle Mobile additional features plugin installation instructions: https://docs.moodle.org/28/en/Moodle_Mobile_additional_features#Installation

5. Go to Site administration > Users >Permissions Define roles, edit the Authenticated user role and allow the capability moodle/webservice:createtoken.
