Is there any way to share private files in moodle. i am using moodle 2.9 version
What are you trying to do? I seems like if you want to have shared files, Private Files is the wrong respository to use.

Do you want to use a forum and attach files? of do they need to be private? In which case use maybe dialogue module. Or drive. Or dropbox?

I want a block (eg. My Shared area) that will be available for students. Students can share their content in a course where he enrolled.
And also he can add content into that shared area. I am using moodle 2.9
