My colleague and I need to find a universal markbook solution for our school. We use Moodle so thought that the gradebook would be the way to to. So far we have been unable to organise assessment using outcomes (dimensions like 'Knowledge and Understanding', 'Processes and Production', 'Work Habits') and categories (Quizzes, Formative Work, Assignments).
We've looked at all the videos we can and read these forums.
We so far have found that making an assessment with outcomes fails to logically display in a category. We also tried creating an outcome item. This seemed promising but we can not assign two outcomes to one assessment.
We can see a huge amount of flexibility but assume we don't understand the underlying paradigm or model.
We are trying to achieve the gradebook equivalent of the following spreadsheet - obviously a very simplified version of a course.
All assistance and advice will be very gratefully received.
