I have updated the Grid format for Moodle 3.0: https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversion.php?id=10547 with the following changes:
1. Use custom user profile fields for accessibility - #23.
2. Section 0 not shown on its own when in the Grid and 'Show one section per page' - #24.
3. TravisCI - tidy up.
Of note is 'https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-format_grid/issues/23' whereby a hidden custom user profile field that the administrator can set will cause the format to display like the Topics format. If all goes well with this, I may consider back-porting to the M2.9 version.
