My organisation is running Moodle 3.0 and we use essay questions in the lesson module to test key components of students' understanding.
We previously used the Assignment module to do this, but found it a bit laborious for students to complete, and some failed to do so, so we integrated the questions into the lessons themselves.
The only issue here now is that the Trainers who need to grade the essay questions no longer receive email notifications when these essay responses are submitted - is there a way to do this in the current Moodle? Our organisation is quite spread out across Australia, and Trainers are dealing with large volumes of students, so this would be really beneficial if we could do this.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
