We no longer use Simple Weighted Means, but this is a prime example of why the restrictions I listed above are in place (for natural weighting). Dropping is the lowest point total, not the lowest percentage. The gradebook has never worked properly when the items are not of the same value, thus the restrictions.
It is just strange that it is dropping the two lowest for some students, and not dropping any for others. I am running Moodle v3.0. How is the aggregation handled now for dropping grades instead of Simple Weighted Means and in which version of moodle can I expect to see the change? Just curious....thanks!
