I think you misunderstood my question.
You said, "There is a project going on that will soon lead to notable improvements in the Plugins directory UI and features offered to both users (visitors) and developers hosting their plugins there."
That was what I was asking about when I asked, "Is there a place we can see what the plans are and follow along with the work being done?". For example, tracker items and/or wiki pages with the improvement plans?
