We have people that have dropped the class still showing up in the Feedback activities for our course. We would like to be able to get this out so that we can sort between the non-responders to determine that they actually are in the class and just not part of it any longer. Is there a way to do this?
Yes, the Feedback Moodle Docs will show you how to delete an individual user's responses from the Feedback module (if it's an anonymous survey, it's still possible, but you'll have no idea who to delete out).
Essentially, go to the Feedback module, click on the "Show Responses" tab. You'll see a list of users, with a link to 'delete entry' next to each student.
Thanks for the help! I am actually looking, though, for a way to remove inactive users and not deleting posts. We have a number of people in this course whose role has been removed but they are still showing up under Feedback. This is not the case under the list in Participants and in other activities but it is the case in Feedback. In Gradebook you have a setting that you can change if you want or do not want these people to show up.
Yes -- but not through the interface. When you are in your Feedback Module, click on Analysis. Click Export to Excel to download the feedback in CSV file. Click on the Detailed tab. -- There you can manually sort out the users that are not currently active. But then to get a visual of the statistics, you can use Excel's Charts features to make a new table/chart with the data there.
