Hi every body 

I need your help ..

I am new administrator in SQU for Moodle 2.7, I want to change the field label in the new course request form from short name to course code ..

This doesn't look like a developer question to me - you should be able to change this via Language_customization.

Well, what string did you try to change?

According to https://github.com/moodle/moodle/blob/master/course/request_form.php#L67 the language string is called 'shortcoursename' and is in the default/main language file (called 'moodle.php').

From your screenshot you appear to be looking in 'course.php' for a non-existent language string called 'name'.
