RADIUS login without domain

RADIUS login without domain

Hi!

I am the Moodle administrator in my company. We have RADIUS server and accounts on it for all employees. Login to Moodle works OK, but the problem is that users can login with username someuser as well as with someuser@domain.com . Moodle then creates two different user accounts for these two usernames. This is confusing for employees so I need help how to disable access to users who try to login without the domain. Can someone help me?

You could add notes to the login page telling people that if they don't use their proper login name it will just cause problems so not to?

This sounds like a bug, you may want to create an issue for it on the tracker. We should treat the fully qualified username and just the username alone as the same user.

Dave Perry's solution sounds like a good workaround in the mean time.

Thanks. I will create an issue for it on the tracker.

Dave Perry's solution would sound good if the employees wouldn't be... Well... Stupid. Of course I wrote a message saying they will cause problems (the message is written in bold red letters), but I just can't make them use username with domain.
