Hi all. In an environment that is not a school, just a site offering learning, I have been asked to set up an enrollment path that has the student apply, get approval, AND then pay for a course. There have various plugins for getting enrollment with payment, or with approval, but I can't find a ready-made way to do both.
I suppose I would have the user's state kept in the database, such that when she clicks "enroll" she gets looked up, and if her status is already "approved" then she goes to the payment page; otherwise she goes to the "request approval" page.
Does anything like this exist?
If not, is there a way to do it outside of Moodle, for example working with wpcourses maybe?
There are a lot of corner cases to be considered, and money is involved, so I hope someone else has already done this.
