Hello All,

Is there any way for a teacher to view grades for a student across all their Moodle classes?

I'm using Moodle 2.7

Thanks,

M

For the overall grades of all classes on one page:

-Go to a class that the student is enrolled in

-Click on Gradebook

-Click on Overview Report

-Select the student from the drop down

There, you'll see the courses listed by short name and the Course Total grade.

According to the docs, the overview report is not relevant for teachers or non-editing teachers and so the view overview report capability is not set for these roles; so you'll have to turn them on for the teacher role.

Hi Max
I'm sorry, but I am not clear..... when you say "their", is that student or teacher?

Are you referring to student grades for courses the teacher doesn't teach? If so, this is controlled by the site administrator. In some places, it is a privacy violation for a teacher to see grades of courses they are not involved with.

If you are referring to seeing a student grade for all courses that a teacher teaches, then as John posted, the Overview tab will provide that.
