Wiki has no grading option

We are using Moodle 2.7.

Teachers are using wikis and they want to grade their students for their work in wikis. However there is no grading option in wikis settings?!!!

We hope that there is a builtin block within the setting of the wiki that ha s the different grading options including rubrics.

By the way, chat has the same story.

Hello. This is correct - not all Moodle activities have a grading function. However, your teachers can manually create grade items in the gradebook and use these to grade students based on their work in the wiki. See Gradebook

Thank you Mary for your reply. But how would they link this grading item to a rubric?

I thought of creating an assignment which has a rubric to evaluate the wiki work which would be added automatically in the gradbook.

Yes you could use an assignment where students do not have to submit any work, and grade the assignment with a rubric based on their performance in the wiki. That would work.

But would developers consider this for new versions upgrades?

I think all activities should have a builtin grade block.
