When you mention that a form isn't shown, I'm wondering if you're thinking of Email-based self-registration which results in a 'Create new account' button on the login page leading to a new account form?
Otherwise, please double-check the documentation Self enrolment and post again if there is anything you are not sure of.
Hi Helen, thanks for answer. I'm talking about this form that appear when you try to access a course (the panel in the right):
Is working in another moodle I have, that doesn't have email based self registration (but that moodle is 2.9, so maybe this change for 3.0)
Self Enrolment is for accessing courses, this it the site log in page. People still have to log into the site before they can enroll in a course.
Thanks Emma, so, my problem is that that form didn't appear in my moodel 3.0 site, I will try to find where to enable it
So as Helen mentioned already, you need to enable email-based registration. The text that appears in the right hand side of the page is editable in the manage authentication settings page.
Thanks Emma and Helen, I was confused about registration to the site and course enrolment, now it's working
