Hi Raviteja,
Moodle could be deployed in HTTPS: just add the HTTPS support into the web server hosting Moodle and change $CFG->wwwroot in config.php accordingly.
Your issue should be fixed even in the API Gateway i.e. the http://worksafe.api.org web site, not sure if it is the Moodle instance itself.
Note: you should fix even the doubling of the forward slash, http://worksafe.api.org//user/login?<blahblahblah>: it could be a source of headaches in the future.
