Moodle - Mail issue

Dear All,

I am attempting use the inbuilt php mail engine but for some reasons i am unable to receive the mail .  I have left the email settings blank assuming that if it is left blank the php mailer will take over.

I am using the Moodle Cron tool, so am assuming that cron job is doing its duty. 

Moodle version  - 3.0

Platform - MS server 2012 R2

No changes made in the php.ini


Is there any importsnt settings i am misisng in my php.ini or anyother settings in the back end.

You can't use the built-in 'Sendmail' facility on Windows because Windows doesn't have that. It's a bad idea anyway (even on Unix that does) as most ISPs / companies / institutions block individual machines from sending mail. You need to find a suitable SMTP server and point Moodle at it.
