Curious to get your reaction to a new feature idea:
Similar to how Moodle can track unread posts for forums, what if instructors who are collaboratively designing a course could see a label for any activities, resources and section summaries that are new or updated since the last time they accessed the course. This would highlight which items have changed be another teacher or instructional designer working on the course. A list of deleted items somewhere could also be a useful part of the picture.
Labels like "New", "Updated", "Deleted" is what I envision to the right of each item as a general rule.
Looking to emulate some of the benefits of track changes in other platforms (Google Docs, etc.), this could help streamline the communication flow for the collaborative course design process. I am not a developer, so this would end up falling to others if the interest was there.
