Maybe this is not the right place to ask this question... on our Moodle 2.8 platform, we've had a problem with an assignment. Files "dissappeared" : students had uploaded their file, but only half of all files are on the platform.
I checked this of course : in their activity report, one can see that they did actually upload a file. Moodle did not send the confirmation (most of them send a message to the teacher to ask why). I join a screenshot.
These were audio files so quite big files, and the problem appears around 8PM which is the server backup time.
I suppose it has to do with a server problem but technicians asked me to post this - it might help us to find out about the problem.
Has anybody experienced the same kind of issu ?
