The problem
This fix seems to work:
.ui-widget-content a:link { color: #1d8ac3 !important; }
.ui-widget-content a:visited{ color: #c22323 !important; }Link is now styled as below. But I am not at all sure why the tabs also become styled a little differently, but I prefer the new look.
