Autosave of Feedback module plain text area

Autosave of Feedback module plain text area

Hi

Moodle 2.8.9 (Build: 20151109)

I have been getting reports that students are having wifi issues while completing feedback. The wifi issue is another case.

My question is around the Feedback modules use of plain text area. Does this use a default autosave?

I have tried enabling the Atto editor overriding the default editor, but I'm guessing that the Feedback has it's own settings of what editor it uses as Atto does not show in Feedback.

Does anyone have any knowledge or thoughts on this please?

Many thanks

David

I do not believe that the Feedback module has an autosave feature.

As for the Atto Editor, that is more for creation than submission.  I would think that feedback is designed to collect feedback in plain text, not anything else.

Hi Emma

Yes that would make sense that feedback is only plain text.

These are MA students, so I guess they are being very thorough with their course feedback.

Thank you for the reply.
