Does it work on a course with a small number of small files as submissions?
Hi Marcus, yes it does work for other assignments on other modules. Seems to be this particular assignment. I downloaded all the assignments individually for the lecturer and zipped them up for her, and shared. This took a little time and wouldn't be ideal if i had to do the same again.
It would be nice if there were a checkbox to indicate what assignments you wanted zipped but there is not
Sometimes timeouts can be addressed by modifying the php.ini configuration.

So by modifying the php.ini you can increase the timeout period, allowing for the files to be made available you reckon?
Up to a point, i.e. if it is 16GB you will be out of luck. I think one of the values involved is here

You will need to restart the server after this change.
