I just created a new block. but i want to give a color for it like below. I am also using aardvark theme.How to apply the particular color to my custom block.

try adding
.block_yourblockname .header {background-color:#ff0000;}
to your customcss in the theme

Also if you need to add an icon too for that block or anyother block not listed, then look in aardvark/style/blockicons.css files and all the information is there.
