how do i change multiple tries  defaultvalue 0.33 to 0 in moodle quiz.pls help me

Ya definitely marcus .when iam setting Quiz for my students in question I have seen default multipletries (I think penalty) value is 0.33% I don't want this .I want 0% for each question .how can we set it default.Could you pls help me.

I am pretty sure this is a core hack...not just a setting.  The default penalty is set in moodle/question/format.php

Also, unless you are using a particular comgination of settings, then it really does not matter.

So, Marcus's request for more information about what you are trying to do was spot on. It would be good if you could answer. What sort of quiz are you trying to make?
