I'm working on moodle 2.9, I want to know if I can erase the button of "Add a new entry" from students, because I don't want students to add anything to the Glossary, is there any way?

This can be accomplished by using the Approved by default setting.

Just set it to No, and no new entries will appear unless you approve them.
You could also try removing the capability mod/glossary:write from the student role in that particular glossary, from Glossary admininistration >Permissions
