Hello to all.
I ran into a serious problem this summer: my Moodle was attacked by a bot a some other malicious contraption that randomly (it seems) reduced some of the files to 1kb (the filenames are still there, but content is null).
I am trying to restore my former Moodle but all I have is a single course backup done several months before (kind of old by my standards) and the Moodledata folder that seems rather unscathed.
Is there anyway I can use the folders that have a cripted name such as "7da354cb963a9b62d4d86f1bf2e4db7e" and that seem to contain activities that were in the courses that evaporated after the attack (in fact the whole of Moodle wouldn't work)?
The folder sit at: moodledata/cache/temp/backup
