So I am teaching a Course (Earth Science) in which there are three different periods that I teach (Period 1, 4, 7). I have the Periods set up as Groups.
I sometimes give an assignment to one group, but not the other. In that case, I restrict the access of the assignment to just one group (period).
In the gradebook, the assignment is showing up for all students; however, the group members have the assignment showing in ORANGE with a hyperlink to the assignment. The other students not in that group see the assignment, but it appears in dark blue without a hyperlink.
Is there a way to hide the assignments when a student is logged in viewing the user report based on which group the assignment is restricted to? In other words, is there a way to only have the assignments actually assigned to the student show in the student's user report?
Up to this point, students are seeing all the assignments, but if an assignment does not apply to their class period I am leaving it BLANK, and BLANK assignments I have set to Omit.
