Is their a possible way to retrieve users' photos from LDAP server?
Currently using Moodle 2.9+ (website: moodle.usj.edu.lb)

A colleague of mine managed it in m2.4 (but only in the 'Enrol Users' popup - but better than nothing) looking at our AD system. I don't think we got round to migrating the code when we upgraded to m2.9, and I can't remember where the change was made (took a while for him to figure it out).

Thank you for your reply, I just heard that retrieving user photos from LDAP server is not possible,
As you mentioned, we have to link this user-photos field to a folder (created by the SIS where they upload all student's photos)
I had the time too to visit the moodle website that is maintained by you, pretty good !

Thanks - it's a team effort.
You are doing your photos differently. We have actual staff photos (the binary image data) in a field on their AD profiles - it's mainly used by Outlook's social connector, but we tapped it (no image files stored anywhere).
