Just wondering if there is any way, or any tools that can import a Database activity into a Dataform activity? This would be a great way to explore changing over to the Dataform module.

Needs to be developed.
At this point the closest way is to create a Dataform activity with equivalent structure to the Database activity and use import/export to transfer user data. The import/export part is limited mainly by what the Database can export. The Dataform can import entry info (user, group, timecreated, timemodified, state) as well as content.
