How to clear the cache in moodle manually?
Where is the directory?
In your browser... usually in Settings, or in IE try Internet Options. If I remember right, you can set to clear the cache when you close the browser... in one of them anyway. Inside Moodle, Admins can clear the cache in Site Admin > Appearance > Themes > Theme Selector by clicking the big button.
I believe the one in Theme Selector only clears themes cache Colin. If you want to purge all caches (including language etc) then Its Admin > Development > Purge All Caches
