Ok, so I found that in version 2.3.2 there was a file /admin/handlevirus.php, with events and stuff, now in 2.9 there is not such thing. 

Also, I tried to upload a virus on my site (2.8.1) and the clam stopped it, but no event was triggered and no log was recorded. What happened to this behavior?

I added an event to core code, coupled it with my plugin and it seems it works.

I guess it would be useful to have that event (virus-found) by default in core, I might suggest that on some appropriate forum
