Hi Folks, i've installed the latest stable moodle versions 2.6, 2.7 and 2.9 from GIT.

In All three, When i try launch a BLTI against scormcloud, I get this error:

Launch data does not validate. Check your BLTI secret.

I have read the thread at https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-46536

it seems like the issue is fixed, but I cant seem to get this to work even though I pulled the latest stable code from git.

This is failing against my scormcloud based LTI activity, as well as against the standard tests at http://ltiapps.net/test/tp.php


I know my LTI dispatch is good, as it tests good from the ltiapps.net tool to scormcloud. So its probably the oauth bug, but I cant seem to be able to fix it sad


Any help is appreciated!

A few suggestions to try when launching to the http://lti.tools/test/tp.php site:

  1. Add a custom parameter of "debug=true" to the launch; this will give you a more technical error message
  2. Does the launch work if you remove the activity description?
  3. Have you checked the time on your Moodle server to make sure it is accurate?

I recycled ntpd, and everything works now. Woot!
