The usual sort of procedure is to check the server log files.
Ideally, you should be running your Moodle site with Debugging set all Normal or All (with messages written only to the log files, not to the screen). That gives you more information about problems.
It also helps if you can find the time when the problem occurred as accurately as possible.
I seem to be having the same problem as the others in this thread.
For one of the quizzes
in my course, the grades for a few of the students do not appear in the
gradebook (even though the grades for all of the other students do appear). The
quiz is a hot potatoes quiz, so I’m not sure that I can set Moodle to regrade
it (as one of the above posters suggested as a workaround).
Has anyone been able to find a solution to this problem?
