My Unix man has created a new VM and installed the vanilla 2.8. I got into the web site fine. Then he copied the moodledata folder and our DBA transferred the old DB over.
At first log in, Moodle fails to upgrade giving an error on qtype_match. See below:
Table "qtype_match_options" already exists
More information about this error
Debug info: can not rename table
Error code: ddltablealreadyexists
line 500 of /lib/ddl/database_manager.php: ddl_exception thrown
line 72 of /question/type/match/db/upgrade.php: call to database_manager->rename_table()
line 537 of /lib/upgradelib.php: call to xmldb_qtype_match_upgrade()
line 1626 of /lib/upgradelib.php: call to upgrade_plugins()
line 434 of /admin/index.php: call to upgrade_noncore()
It then goes back to the upgrade screen (a loop). In searching the upgrade messages, I see this module that matches the error message:
Random short-answer matching /question/type/randomsamatch Standard 2012112900 2014111000
So, how can we fix this?
