Error installing MAMP for moodle 1.9

Hi, I receive the following error report when clicking on mamp icon after installing moodle by the drag and drop method to applications folder on a Mac machine running OS 10.5.8 . Sorry if this has been answered before,  but we have very poor internet bandwidth here. We're in Nunavut, Canada, and it takes an ice age to have pages load here.  Was wondering if I need to install Apache, PHP and SQL first?  Almost certain this would be easier installing on a PC.  ---    Patrick

Picture of Particularly helpful Moodlers

According to MAMP download @

https://www.mamp.info/en/downloads/

Requirements: min. Mac OS X 10.6.6 & 64-Bit processor (Intel) for the latest version of MAMP

which would probably result in same attempting to install on a PC (which isn't necessarily eaiser BTW) that's not up to requirements.

https://www.mamp.info/en/documentation/

Download for MAMP 1.9 is at the bottom of this listing:

https://download.moodle.org/macosx/

And I might add that installing a 1.9 of Moodle should be the highest version available ... it's no longer being supported.

You might have to install a compat MAMP and get mysql/apache/PHP running, then do a manual install of Moodle 1.9.19+.

OR find another Mac OR upgrade the MacOS.

Sounds like I need to get busy.  Will post back as soon as I get it running. Thanks Ken.
