This procedure only handles questions in the question bank, which is the first required step.
Moving quizzes is another issue. I would have to do some experimenting if my real goal was to design quizzes in MAMP, and then move them. I believe that backing up and restoring a quiz will also import the questions, but I don't do this so am not sure. I have a small moodle (15 courses/yr, 300 students/yr) so creating a quiz from scratch only takes about 2 to 5 minutes.
