At the moment I am a bit confused about Moodle 2.7 and it's "LTS" status. 2.7 had been announced with:
"Long-term support (LTS) until May 2017
This release will have an extra-long period of support from Moodle HQ for 3 years (instead of the usual 1.5 years)."
But right now 2.7 isn't listed as a supported version any more and only security and "data loss" fixes are being implemented.
Is this really enough? We decided to stay on 2.7 as long as possible due to time restrains, etc. for more frequent updates. But up till now there have been major (usability bugs), that won't be fixed for 2.7. Can you really call this "LTS"?
I've got mixed feelings about our decision to stay on 2.7 now and would like to know how everybody else's opinion on that?
