Maybe I am the only Moodle user with this problem, but I am really missing a facility which would save me a lot of boring manipulations.
I teach almost 10 different courses with Moodle, to students engaged in either very different or similar or very similar types of studies.
In order to minimize useless work, I would very much like to be able to re-use some of the glossary entries in one course in another course.
What I would like to do is select some glossary entries from one glossary before exporting them.
Of course I could also export the whole of a glossary from course A to course B and then, within course B, delete the unwanted entries ... one by one, which could be very boring again...
I know exactly what would fit the bill: I would choose the Entry List Display Format; it would display the full list of all my entries with a little box in front of each entry so I could tick or untick those boxes, and at the top/bottom of the screen there would be 2 buttons: export selected / delete selected.
Anyone else interested, so we can file a bug/suggestion report?
PS The more I use Moodle the more I find it's missing data manipulation tools for bulk rather than "one by one" manipulation of data.
