Version 2.8.5+
Issue - Forum digest emails and forum "mail now" emails not being sent.
- Emails do get sent fine from "messages" and assignment submission receipts get sent out OK so I assume our email server is OK and all the connection details are good (nothing has changed in years)
- This problem appears to have started on upgrade to Moodle 2.8 a couple of weeks ago, all was fine on Moodle 2.6.
- The table mdl_forum_queue does not seem to get populated at any point
- Scheduled tasks indicate "Forum mailings and maintenance jobs" are running (should there be any other tasks I should look at?)
- Running the cron manually does not show any reports of forum posts being sent out
Having read all the other postings regarding mails not sending including everything linked from these postings below I am stumped as to the cause of the issue.
