Hi, I've had an issue when trying to install these items on our moodle.

Essentially, it looks like all has gone well, but when you then try to log in/out, you get redirected to a page saying object moved.

if you then manually change your url to go back to the front page, you are taken there to find that you have been logged in/out as you were trying to do.

Also, files within moodle stop working and give the same error.

Purging all caches doesn't change anything, and on its own, uninstalling the reports and block doesn't

But if you uninstall both report and block, and then purge all caches, voila, moodle works correctly again.

we are running  Moodle 2.6.2+ (Build: 20140508) on a windows 2012 server with PHP 5.6.0. the database is on MSSQL on a seperate server.

we have a seperate moodle on a box that is a clone from a few weeks ago that we used to upgrade php on which the problem hasn't occured (both boxes now are on php 5.6 with identical settings)

Can anybody shed any light on possible causes?

issue solved.


In case anybody else has this problem, who is using IIS and wincache, setting wincache.ocenabled=1  seems to cause an issue when adding new plugins, presumably due to the way it caches.  disable this line in php.ini and the issue shouldn't occur.
