We have had our cloud Moodle upgraded to v2.8.5 which has involved the Ip address changing.
The Moodle we use for credentials-forwarding is v2.5.2
Since the upgrade MNET logins have not worked, we just get a timeout:-
"Ooops! Your MNET communication has failed! Here's that error message to pass on to your administrator: connect() timed out!ERROR 28:
28:connect() timed out!"
The public keys are ok between the 2 servers, the new remote IP is begin resolved tocorrectly . The firewall rules have bee changed to match the new IP. With Wireshark I can see communication with the remote server when I attempt to logon to credentials-forwarding Moodle.
Could it be having 2 different versions of Moodle causes a problem for MNET?
