How to migrate moodle databases from PostgreSQL to MySQL ?

Hi,

we are using Moodle 2.6 with PostgreSQL on Ubuntu 12 and we want to use Moodel 2.8 on Centos .i have installed moodle 2.8 on ubuntu but i have problem to transfer all of data from PostgeSQL(moodle2.6) to Mysql.

Please help me i am new in this way.

It's not necessarily simple. Why not continue to use PostgreSQL?

Moodle has a built in tool, but it is highly experimental. Make sure you have reliable backups etc. 

You can find it at... admin/tool/dbtransfer/cli/migrate.php

Not for beginners or the faint hearted.

We are planning to use Maria DB and i have to transfer Db to mysql.

I know, you said. However, if you have the skills to un PostgreSQL I would definitely stick with it. Plus converting your database will almost certainly give you trouble even if it is possible at all.
