I can't edit blocks on Front Page in v 2.9

Hello,

Our IT dept upgraded to 2.9 and I can't edit the front page blocks. We are using the Essential's theme and I can edit in  those.

The configure and Edit drop down are greyed out. See below.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bob. Quick question - are you using the main menu and do you have some URLs in there opening in  a new window? You might be suffering from this bug: MDL-50446
