  1. Create a PoodLL recording question in Moodle 2.8
  2. Select "Picture response" from "Response format" drop-down menu
  3. Add a Whiteboard background image
  4. Save changes and add the question to the quiz.

The background image is not visible in Google Chrome.

We also made a test in http://demo.poodll.com/ and the background image is visible only using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

(Justin, I know now you can't actually work on PoodLL, I'm just informing you of this issue...thank you for your attention!)

Thanks for the report Francesca. I just confirmed that now.

I had no idea that was broken. There seem to be issues with LiterallyCanvas unfortunately at the moment. It is also not working on Moodle 2.9 at all. So for now I recommend you change the default whiteboard in the PoodLL Filter Settings from LiterallyCanvas to drawingboard.js.

I am not aware of any such issues with that.

Hello,

I use "Poodll WhiteBoard" as filter_poodll_defaultwhiteboard with Moodle 2.8.6

I recently encountered a problem with it. The WhiteBoard would log me out everytime I save a drawing on an iOS device, particularly when submitting an assignement. The drawing is saved and not lost once logged back on.

I switched over to "drawingboard.js" to see if it would solve my problem. Everything works fine on most web browsers, however I can't save a drawing on an iOS device anymore; luckily it also doesn't log me out.

Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem? Do you need more info to determine what might be the problem?

Thank you,

David

I will have to investigate this. I have not had these problems before.

What theme are you using?

We use a custom theme based on Clean.

I had a quick try on "clean" on a Moodle 2.7 but couldn't make it break.

The PoodLL Whiteboard is flash so on iOS you would be seeing drawingboard even when the default is "PoodLL Whiteboard." Because we need to show the iOS user something that works.

I wonder if your site an all https site? And if this behavour is consistent across a few different browsers?
