I am not professional in PHP so I could not do any modifications to Moodle code. However, I can suggest a brilliant ideas for Moodle reports. One idea is to make report generation by using GUI not by SQL. This is because not all Moodle users are experts in SQL. In addition, writing SQL requires good understanding for Schema of the Tables.
The suggested idea (to be coded as plug-in) permitting the user (teachers or administrators) to generate reports by selecting fields to be shown in the report. I am ready for any suggestion to develop this idea and looking forward to hear from developers as soon as possible.
